I'd like to use ableton's midi clock sync messages as building blocks. The sync messages are sent from ableton to the IAC driver and appear in controllermate's activity window as a null block. If you could make that null block a real block that'd be awesome Exclamation

edit: os x 10.7.5 cm 4.8.3

Is the Sync messages sent as a System Real-Time message?

How can I determine that? You might be able to find the answer here: https://www.ableton.com/en/help/article/synchronizing-live-midi/

That page doesn't explicitly state what type of message is being used, but I suspect that it is the real-time message. If that's the case, then that is a type of MIDI message that ControllerMate doesn't currently respond to.

That (null) block indicates that ControllerMate sees activity, but isn't properly finding a building block to represent it. Even though ControllerMate doesn't respond to the real-time messages, that (null) block should not be appearing.
