No LED Control Sat Apr 09, 2016 2:17 pm  •   #10596

Hi all,

I have a Behringer CMD DV-1 and I would like to set all lights off, (except for some, if possible).
But I can't find any Led control building block in the controller list of building blocks. Is that normal ? Does that mean that their is no way to act on the LED inside Controllermate, and, last but not least, is there an other way to tweak it (with any xml fil somewhere for instance...) ?

Thanks in advance for any help !!!

Bests,
Alex

Well,

this is the answer from Behringer :

It depends on the software. They sent me this doc for the MIDI Feedback...I'm afraid not to understand.

If any one can give me some neurons on that...

Thanks in advance,
Alex

From the document, it looks like the device will turn its LEDs on and off when it receives note messages that correspond to the various buttons.

If you create one of ControllerMate's MIDI output blocks (such as a MIDI Note Output), does the DV-1 appear in the output name menu in the Inspector window when that block is selected? If so, then setting up that block with the appropriate MIDI note and triggering it on and off might do the trick.

Hello Ken,

Thanks for your answer.
With the Note Output Building block, I have the Behringer CMD DV-1 in the list.
When I connect it to a controller note Building block it indeed send the right signal to the controller, changing the color of the led for instance when I click on a button....but the off state (OO) seems to be that orange light on...I don't find anything to turn it off for good...for now...will continue my inquiry...

THanks
Alex

I am having a similar issue. I can turn on the red led but when I turn it off I cannot figure out how to turn off the green led.
