Okay, im relatively new at CM, but im learning it alright. Im having a hard time though configuring the triggers for my 360 controller.

I play Steam, so i want to set the right trigger for the left mouse click and the left trigger for the right mouse click. I figured out that I needed to use a range panel. The triggers go from 0-255 i think, and i set it to turn on around 80.

The PROBLEM i keep running into is I cant figure out how to connect the range panel to a left click output.
Could someone help me with putting the 2 together, plz?

I've done this and I just made a virtual mouse and drug the mouse button from that to the range panel. Have you tried that?

I dont understand. I set up a new virtual mouse but the panel block from it doesnt connect to range panels. It has no input. I can connect it to a left click output, but i can't connect any of that to the 360 controller's trigers.

Can you send me a picture or something of what you're talking about?

Something like this then I suppose?

What you're doing is dragging the entire Virtual Mouse block onto the editor. Try to click on it inside the Palette. That will open up its buttons. Let us know if you need any more help.

One thing to notice is that the triggers are squares (Values). While the left click button is oval (ON/OFF). The range has a flat top, but is tapered on the bottom to convert values to ON/OFF signals.

Good luck!

If the only thing that you need to do is simulate left/right mouse buttons, then you can skip the virtual mouse and use the Mouse Button building block:

However, button #1 and #2 on a virtual mouse work also.
