How can I now help to create cmate files of my devices?

My last mouse is a Logitech G602 and if I can help to be better recognized I'll be glad to.

Things like adjust DPI can't be controlled and would be awesome be able to.

Very Happy

Unfortunately, it is unlikely that a cmate file for the G602 would be able to add compatibility with its DPI setting. That is typically a non-standard function of a mouse that would need to be implemented in ControllerMate itself.

Are there other features of the G602 that ControllerMate does not see?

Change DPI UP
Change DPI DOWN
Cycle all DPI preconfigured values
Return to a preconfigured (default) DPI value
Set a custom DPI while a button is pressed
Show battery status (led)

I've also got a G602, and I'd be happy to help.

I'm assuming that you need an analysis of the USB communications between the computer and the Logitech receiver, is there a specific format or application you use or prefer? I'm setting up a VM with Mavericks, since I saw the IOUSBFamily logger doesn't work with Yosemite.

It looks like the mouse has two modes, one where the profile is stored on the mouse itself, and one where it sends standard mouse-button clicks for every action, even the DPI adjustments. Based on this, my guess is that the Logitech Gaming Software catches these button clicks, and sends the DPI adjust command back to the mouse.
