I know this gets mentioned in dozens of specific threads, but a consolidated answer would be handy.
Ken, you've made clear, and many of us Logitech users have experienced, that Logitech does something screwy with the output from their pointing devices, which makes Controllermate tough or impossible to use with them. Examples abound, including my new MX-610 (needed a nice left-handed mouse, it's best-in-class), from personal experience.
A good example of the oddities are the "scroll wheel rocker" switches, which act like mouse actions in Controllermate. Also some buttons aren't "seen."
I think you've mentioned here-and-there that you might look into working around these issues, and I was wondering if this is happening or bearing fruit?
I only ask because while Logitech makes the A-1 worst Mac drivers I've ever seen, the mice themselves are highly rated, are built to last (my MX-510 on the PC has taken years of gaming abuse), comfortable for alot of people, and have quite a few buttons on them. They are one of the most popular aftermarket mice, especially at the mid- to high-end.
Might that be incentive enough, and payoff enough, to look into Logitech's wierdness?
Purdy please?
