ControllerMate v4.3.4 Released

Today, OrderedBytes announces a minor update to ControllerMate v4.3. New in ControllerMate v4.3.4 (10.2 MB):
  • [FIXED] Fixed a bug that prevented ControllerMate's building blocks from being dragged while using Synergy from a different computer.
  • [FIXED] Fixed a bug that prevented AppleScript building blocks from being customized in certain cases
ControllerMate v4.3.4 is a recommended update for users of Synergy, or who use AppleScript building blocks and have migrated to Mac OS X 10.5.

Today, OrderedBytes announces a minor update to ControllerMate v4.3. New in ControllerMate v4.3.3:
  • [FIXED] Fixed a bug that could prevent ControllerMate from starting up correctly if an AppleScript block contains a script with errors.
  • [FIXED] ControllerMate’s log output is reduced and will no longer appear in console.log in Mac OS X 10.5.
  • [IMPROVED] Added 512 x 512 icon artwork for Finder Coverflow.

Today, OrderedBytes announces a minor update to ControllerMate v4.3.

ControllerMate v4.3.1 (9.3MB) includes a fix that allows Application building blocks and application-specific groups to properly recognize iTunes (and perhaps other applications).

ControllerMate v4.3.1 is a recommended update for users who have experienced problems configuring ControllerMate to detect iTunes.

Today, OrderedBytes announces the third major update to ControllerMate v4.

ControllerMate v4.3 (9.3MB) contains a number of additions and improvements.
  • [NEW] AppleScript building blocks may now store their scripts internally instead of referring to an external script file.
  • [NEW] Added the ability to turn off ControllerMate's virtual mouse. This eliminates a conflict with the trackpad on laptops when the "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present" setting in the System Preferences.
  • [IMPROVED] New options have been added to Axis, Button and Hatswitch building blocks to control how they combine with modifiers.
  • [IMPROVED] Additional F-keys have been added to the Keystrokes Palette. F1-F17 are now available.
  • [IMPROVED] Single Key building blocks can now be created by dragging directly from the Keystrokes Palette.
  • [IMPROVED] The layout of the Keystrokes Palette can be changed to ANSI, ISO, or JIS in the Preferences window.
  • [IMPROVED] "One-Shot" behavior option has been added to the Single Key building block.
  • [IMPROVED] New options have been added to the Delta building blocks to allow them to ignore certain inputs.
  • [IMPROVED] New options have been added to Pages to reset their building blocks when the Page is enabled, disabled, or both. The blocks can also be reset at any time using a new button in the Inspector window.
  • [FIXED] Fixed improper behavior in the 1:2 Selector (Number) building block.
  • [FIXED] Fixed a bug which prevented registration keys from "sticking" after quitting ControllerMate.
ControllerMate v4.3 is a recommended update for all users.

Today, OrderedBytes announces the second major update to ControllerMate v4.

ControllerMate v4.2 (8.3MB) contains a number of additions and improvements.
  • [IMPROVED] The Addition building block (formerly the "Sum" building block) is now able to add a constant value to its inputs.
  • [NEW] The Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Remainder, and Comparison building blocks have been added to do basic math.
  • [NEW] The Delta (Number) building block has been added to calculate the amount by which a number value changes.
  • [IMPROVED] The Counter building block may now have a distinct starting value in addition to its upper and lower count limits.
  • [NEW] The Application building block has been added to indicate when a given application is running.
  • [NEW] The Controller building block has been added to indicate when a given controller is available.
  • [NEW] The Random Number building block has been added to generate random numbers.
  • [NEW] The Accumulator building block has been added to calculate running totals.
  • [NEW] The Strobe building block has been added to convert a number value into a series of pulses.
  • [IMPROVED] The Properties building block now appears in the "Extras" section of the Palette window.
  • [IMPROVED] The Cursor building block may now be configured to move to a location relative to the position of the frontmost window (Requires Mac OS X 10.4)
  • [IMPROVED] The Range, Value Selector, and Pulse building blocks contain new options to make them more compatible with the behavior of scroll wheels.
  • [IMPROVED] Groups are now better at tracking the currently active application. Therefore they can now contain Controller Configurations allowing users to configure keyboards or mice based on the current application.
  • [IMPROVED] Mouse Controller Configurations may now disable the cursor and scrolling axes.
  • [IMPROVED] Multiple Palette windows may now be opened.
  • [IMPROVED] Multiple Inspector windows may now be opened. Inspector windows may now be "pinned" to prevent their contents from changing when selecting new items.
ControllerMate v4.2 is a recommended update for all users.
