ControllerMate v4.4.1 Released

Happy New Year! Today, OrderedBytes announces a minor update to ControllerMate.

ControllerMate v4.4.1 (9.7 MB) fixes a bug that caused building blocks for the very last control on some devices to ignore activity from the control. Not all devices were affected.

ControllerMate v4.4.1 is a recommended update users who find that some Button or Axis building blocks work correctly but others do not.

Today, OrderedBytes announces an update to ControllerMate. ControllerMate v4.4 (9.7 MB) adds compatibility with the 64-bit kernel in Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Users who enable the Mac OS X 64-bit kernel will now be able to use all existing features in ControllerMate.

Also new in ControllerMate v4.4:

  • [IMPROVED] The helper application now runs as a launchd process and can be found in the /Library/Application Support/ControllerMate folder.
  • [FIXED] Fixed a driver bug that could cause a kernel panic in certain situations.
  • [FIXED] Fixed a bug that could prevent the helper from properly running the user's programming after quitting the ControllerMate application.

ControllerMate v4.4 is a recommended update all users.

Today, OrderedBytes announces a minor update to ControllerMate.

New in ControllerMate v4.3.10 (9.8 MB):

  • [NEW] ControllerMate's Controller Configurations are now able to turn off each pointer and scrolling axes of a mouse independently from each other. This allows behavior such as limiting cursor movement to be a single axis, or disabling horizontal scrolling while retaining vertical scrolling.
  • [NEW] Cursor building blocks may now be configured to move the cursor to a location relative to any of a window's four corners. Previously, all locations had to be defined relative to the top-left corner.
  • [IMPROVED] Application building blocks and application-specific groups can now detect when an AppleScript that has been saved as an application is launched or quit.
  • [FIXED] Fixed a bug that caused the loss of custom names of controls on virtual devices.
