When used without the Logitech Bluetooth receiver, the MediaPad is partially compatible with ControllerMate. ControllerMate can detect the media buttons and the Clear Screen button when the MediaPad is in “123” or “NAV” mode. When in “NAV” mode, ControllerMate can also detect the “Back” and “Forward” buttons. The “Num Lock” LED needs to be used to switch the MediaPad from “123” to “NAV” mode. ControllerMate cannot control the MediaPad's LCD.
The cmate file removes numerous generic controls that don't exist on the device. It also removes the buttons that ControllerMate cannot detect.
