Hi all,

I am new to the forum, but am really enjoying CM and the potential that it has Smile!

I have recently bought a Behringer X-Touch, a beautiful piece of hardware, but unfortunately limited in its usability for me at the moment, as it only implements Mackie Control and HUI, no configurable MIDI CC / Notes nor OSC...

May I ask, has anyone here ever considered/looked into making a CM profile that receives MC or HUI and converts it to... whatever Smile? Is that possible at all with CM? I know it seems to implement MIDI CC, Notes etc, but I guess a full Mackie emulations is consisting of much more Sysex nonsense and such, correct?

Amongst other things I was thinking about how cool it would be to use CM to use this surface to control i.e. Adobe After Effects, QLab...

Anyway, potentially just dreams Smile.

I don't believe that Mackie has published information about the protocol that they use, so that probably won't be implemented in ControllerMate anytime soon.

OSC and general-purpose SysEx are more likely to be added, but there is still a fair bit of work to do.
