Feature Request: Application-specific programming pages Thu Apr 12, 2018 6:42 am  •   #12086

I find that I am creating key mappings that are specific to applications I use. So I create an application block to as a condition, but then to do simple mappings, I have to create an AND logic block to have both conditions. (I like that the app can be connected to many, so I only need to specify that once.)

If a programming page's properties could accept an application building block as a general property, and then automatically apply it as an AND condition, it would greatly simplify defining app-specific mappings (eliminating all the explicit AND connections).

My $0.02.

(Thanks for creating such a great product!)
Very Happy

If it wasn't clear, I did neglect to mention that I organize the different app-specific mappings using programming pages.

Your idea is covered by Programming Groups.

See the Inspector window’s Properties tab for enabling Programming pages by application.
