I have a keypad with a "00" button. For some reason it works differently than every other button on the keypad. I have setup the driver override to disable the default action for all buttons. When I press 00 the button state flashes to on for a fraction of a second (almost imperceptible) then goes back to off. All of the other buttons change their state to on and stay that way as long as the button is pressed. Has anyone experienced this with their keypads or do I possibly have a defective button? Is there maybe any workaround to get this button functioning?

From what I have heard, keyboards with a "Keypad 00" button (or a "Keypad 000" button) actually implement it by simulating a common "Keypad 0" button twice (or three times). In effect, the button is running an internal macro that turns the button on and off even though the physical key is being held down.

That behavior is probably built into the hardware, and can't be modified from software unless the manufacturer has a utility that changes the behavior of the keyboard.

Thanks, Ken. That was what I was fearing. I guess I'll just leave that key as a blank for my remapping.
