Hello, Very Happy
Instead of exporting and importing I thought I would try "saving". Now in my Apple Text Edit program, you push command save and the changes you made to the text (add a sentence for example) will be there when you open the document the next day.

In ControllerMate I push command "S"; the little dot in the red circle goes away and the File menu grays out the command save. So we know it was saved.

So then I clear the whole ControllerMate program by deleting every thing. Then I open the same program and the changes are gone.

I tested for hours. It seems that "save" does work when that file automatically opens when you open the app; BUT it doesn't update the exported file like a normal Apple file so the changes are gone, if you open a program other than the most recent.

If you have one file for one device, then the Save command would be just fine. Otherwise, what is the use of the save command if the changes are not there? I have four x-keys.

Can more than one registered ControllerMate program work on a computer? One registration for each device?
My two x-key 60's switch up often when I boot up. You push a certain button on one and the command from the other x-key 60 is activated. It is very frustrating and confusing.

Thank you very much for your help.

ControllerMate basically has one save file that is shared by both the ControllerMate application and the background helper. The export/import functions are available for sharing setups, or for archiving, but ControllerMate (and its helper) will always update its shared save file with the currently active programming.
